Click "Add New Item" above or use the main navigation:

Go to My Inventory → Add Item
Fill in the basic information (name, manufacturer, etc.)
Upload photos (optional but recommended)
Set condition and price information
Organize with boxes and tags

Boxes help you organize items by physical location:

Create boxes in the Organize → Boxes section
Assign items to boxes when adding/editing them
Nest boxes inside other boxes for detailed organization
Use colors to visually distinguish box types

Transfer items to other HobbyShelf users:

Initiate: Click "Transfer" on any item
Select recipient: Enter their username
Wait for response: Recipient accepts or declines
Complete: You confirm the physical transfer
